  Charity exhibition for the earthquake victims in Japan, in cooperation with other Swiss artists.
  
  In the aftermath of the catastrophic events at the atomic power plant of Fukushima caused by the great earthquake in the east of Japan on March 11, 2011, 58’000 people were evacuated from Fukushima prefecture by fall of 2011, and the numbers of schoolchildren who needed to be placed in other schools had surpassed 17’000.
  The foundation we chose to support was established with the goal of offering long-term psychological and economical assistance especially for these children and youngsters and also for volunteers devoting their time to rebuilding the damaged community (www.osyf.or.jp/index.html).
  With the favourable patronage of the auction house Koller of Zurich, approximately 20 artists from Switzerland and Japan provide their works without charge in order to render possible a charity exhibition and auction.
  We heartily invite all those who agree with this aim to actively participate in these events.
